Childcare – Berlin Altglienicke
New Kita in Berlin-Altglienicke – Opening Spring 2026
A new Kita for children aged 1 to 6 years is being created at Anne-Frank-Straße 6 — located within a modern residential district and only about 10 minutes from S-Bahnhof Adlershof. The Kita will offer space for 84 children, across five age-appropriate groups with clear structures, stable caregivers, and an above-average childcare ratio that enables reliable attention and individual support.
Rooms & Outdoor Space
Bright group rooms, a large multifunction room, and a 900 m² outdoor area form the foundation for movement, play, and learning. The outdoor space is protected, thoughtfully designed, and gives children plenty of safe outdoor time.
Pedagogy with Clear Priorities
Our approach is attachment-based and follows a reliable, well-structured daily rhythm.
Key elements include:
needs-oriented guidance
gentle settling-in based on the Berlin Model
clearly assigned caregivers enabled by the improved staffing ratio
fostering independence and social interaction
regular impulses for movement, creativity, and nature experiences
Movement is central: children use the outdoor area daily, have set activity times in the multifunction room, and take part in regular outings within the neighborhood and nearby green spaces.
Bilingualism & Diversity
Our team works bilingually (German/English). Children encounter both languages naturally in daily routines, conversations, and play.
The Kita is an open, intercultural environment for families from various countries and backgrounds. This diversity shapes the community and gives children positive experiences with multilingualism and cultural richness — naturally and without pressure.
Nutrition
We provide fresh meals in organic quality, vegetarian on request. Children eat in calm, manageable groups with clear meal routines that offer comfort and structure.
Reliability & Child Protection
A warm atmosphere, clear structures, and active child protection form the foundation of our work. Our team receives continuous training and works closely with parents to create a trusting partnership.
Registrations are now open.
We look forward to welcoming families seeking a modern, warm, and international Kita place in Berlin-Altglienicke and Berlin-Adlershof (Treptow-Köpenick).
